I'm hoping in his mind he strives to be average in his own end.

huh....no articles from Timmy P about the game last night, but he found time to write about Bobby Ryan loving the Sens today? Wonder why. How is this troll a Flyers insider?
- Just5

Pretty sure Tim traveled to Ottawa and Baicker to Pitts so I would think the articles will be from Sarah regarding last night.

Yeah, my wife's parents got it for me last year. She asked me where I would wear it.
My response: "Where am I not gonna wear it?"

The better (but maybe not wiser) response would have been, "The hell with you."

I hope he sent Emery a nice little bottle of something for that one... 1-1 game, late in the 2nd, Emery totally bailed him out. No (frank)ing clue what he was doing with the puck there at the blueline with two Pens within 10-feet of him... luckily it didn't cost them the game.

No one likes Konan the Destroyer. Despite Wilt's exploits and the cute princess, it was awful.

We clearly need Konan the Barbarian.

The movies, with exception to milius's adaptation co-authored by the great Oliver stone, are such an insult to the novela's written by R.E Howard..
FYI Arnold himself is resurrecting the original movie story line... Rumor is they're doing a trilogy based on Howard's lone Conan novel Hour of the dragon.
*edit where in Samhain did you get that shirt?!

Well, yes, both movies are really just taking a character (well, 2, as Valeria is a love interest in Red Nails) and basing a loose-fitting story around them. Sadly, the remake is closer to the novels, despite it not being as awesome as the first movie. Also, we can all pretend that Red Sonja never happened.

Hour of the Dragon was my 2nd favorite. Beyond the Black River is my top.

Interestingly enough, Kull the Conqueror starring Kevin Sorbo is very close to Hour of the Dragon, while Conan the Barbarian is very close to the Kull of Atlantis storyline.

I guess an older Arnold could only do things like Hour of the Dragon, although The Phoenix on the Sword could be (hopefully) worked in somehow.

Edwards is brutal. Don't care for him at all. Jeanerret I get a kick out of.

I don't remember where I got it. I just told my mother-in-law that I wanted it, and it was waiting for me XMas morning. I wore it to Xmas dinner and loudly proclaimed myself champion and high lord of Xmas.

probably working on a followup about how 100% of flyerdom still absolutely DETESTS the Downie trade
- Crimsoninja

Either that or he's waiting for some losses so he can pick back up on the "Flyers Must Make a Big Trade" theme...

"Couts shut down 2 of the best hockey players in the world last night

but he's useless, cant score, no good for anything"
- Flyersrock

Truth be told, Crosby and Malkin both got a good amount quality chances last night (Malkin set up some nice plays too)...Emery and maybe Grossmann had more to do with "shutting them down" than Coots last night, though I loved seeing Couturier's agitating getting under Shrek's skin (again)!
