Schenn is on a pace for 27 goals and assists. not bad

I think he's starting to establish an identity. A PF with a good shot.

Thank Buffalo for blowing up yesterday. I didn't have to hear Emery/Holtby all day.

Today's another day. Puckdaddy and Blair talked Metro and up it came again.

The funny part is that the team has played much better since. I don't believe there is a correlation, but from the outside it probably won't look so bad if that Caps game ends up being the turning point of the season.

... because you knew the loss was coming and were more than surprised at the end when the Pens inexplicably couldn't find the net. The fact that they only had 6 shots speaks to their current level of play.

For once, it was nice to see the Flyers be the team that was difficult to play against. They seemed to really frustrate the Pens on almost every entry. I thought they did a good job of limiting chances. The third period didn't have that foreboding feeling of a Pens goal coming.

I don't think he looked bad last night, but his ice time told you everything you needed to know about how Berube feels.

I thought Streit looked pretty bad last night. Kimmo, Coburn and Grossmann were horses.

I don't think Brayden Schenn has ever been that terrible for us. J just think center is too much responsibility for him.

I enjoyed the win but also think they were a bit lucky to come away with two points.
They didn't get much from their top line except for one really good shift before Schenn's first goal. G's line absolutely dominated in the Ottawa game but were not great last night. Last night they were outplayed by the Pens stars by a lot.

On the other hand Couts and Read were real good, I think Read was credited with 5 shots.

I think Emery stole a win. And that is pretty special too.

Much rather see them the way the played against Ottawa but realize that is not going to happen every game.

I would have benched him after playing with the puck leading to the Crosby breakaway.

I thought there was a chance the Pens would score. I think it's impossible to expect the team to completely limit them to no chances. Especially on the road.

I thought they did a good job of limiting chances though. It's not as if the Pens were generating scoring chances on every shift.

That was bad. I thought the Flyers did a good job of playing smart all night except for that one turnover.

Such a huge save by Emery.

It's definitely a game they would have lost earlier in the year though.

Streit is on the ice a lot of odd times. Last night while hanging on to the lead, I believe he was out there with less than two minutest left at some point. I think he should be benches for each dying moment.t for each third period that we are defending a lead.

If this is really a turn around I hope they do it right and not finish two points out of a playoff spot.

Well if L. Schenn could get his act together and start playing like he did last year, Berube could roll out kimmo-Schenn and Grossmann-Coburn for the last 4 minutes of a game.

He's not really a guy I want playing the last 5 minutes against the Pens. I like Gus, but he's not ready for that.
