It's very simple. Before last year, which happened to be Randy's first season as coach from beginning to end, the Leafs were a bottom 5 team. Since then, they've been top 10. Same core of players.

dont get me wrong here, im not complaining about the loss, we got 1 pt, not the end of the world.

i just have been in pain watching some games this year...its like we just sit back all game let them pour on offense and pray that something goes wrong and we get an odd man rush and cash in.

Quick question with regards to the Ducks' goalie situation.

Andersen has been excellent in Fasth's absence. Fasth is currently on a conditioning stint and will return eventually.

Given Andersen's age, games played, contract etc etc etc, (barring an injury or a trade) what is most likely to happen to Andersen in the near future?

You can break it down and look at the thousand of little contributing factors of the team's success, but at the high level, they started winning when he took over. I don't see how the fact that two goalies are thriving in a coach's system is a slight on the coach.
