In a perfect world, that would be Beaulieu but apparently he still has much work to do in Hamilton.

As much as I agreed with you before. These two players are just slightly above average, and Vanek is as streaky a player as any in this league.

Funny thing is this. And not to go back to the past. But imagine, The same team but they kept McDonagh and Cammalleri.

Edit:
And Im not saying Cammalleri is the be all and end all of goal scorers and yes hindsight is 20/20 and all that jazz..

Cammalleri, no thanks. I said Vanek because he's likely to be the best FA available this summer. And he has a 70 point season playing with Pominville and Roy, which I personally think Galchenyuk will be better than. He is the perfect solution, no. Is he an option, perhaps.

I think everyone would like to have McDonaugh back in Montreal.

I get your point, but in that case, they don't sign Desharnais and/or Brière if they have him. Mind you, its the habs, so who knows.

And I propose lines because it makes more interesting hockey talk than what political people smoke(unless it's my pole) or say on twitter.

It really was just an example of something that you already had, and that they are missing. A guy who can score.

Anyways, as fans, I'm sure we already knew that it would take time before this team comes close to becoming a top tier team. What we can say is that there is a Bonafide superstar defenceman and goalkeeper that keeps the habs out of the basement on a nightly basis on this team. Not many other teams can say that.

Shouldn't have been signed regardless. Neither should Desharnais for that matter. Still don't want Cammalleri.
