Just once I want the pens to make it miserable on the opposing tender. Take a beating and get a goal off a skate. All this tic tac toe shyt won't win in the playoffs. The flyers had two guys in front of MAF setting up a picnic lunch on their PP.
If they don't have the personnel for that, they need to get it. |

1st period Sid was out there against giroux's line and we dominated play. Flyers changed to put couturier on him and we struggled to create the rest of the game. If Pierre sees it it has to be pretty obvious. - buckster2342

Tell me if this an issue among many we all seem to have, perhaps its all in my head.
Line 1 3 left handed shots
Line 2 3 left handed shots
Line 3 3 right handed shots.
PP 1 1 right handed shoat that cant hit the net. Tanger.
Only 1 side of the ice has a chance of a one timer.
Losing to Philly who were on back to backs.... |

Today my Flyer buddy said he would rather have Giroux than Crosby, especially if his team already had Malkin. He then proceeded to say Ovechkin, Stamkos, Malkin and Giroux are all better than Crosby and he wasn't joking. |

Hope team USA won't need in game adjustments or play matchups. Sid will have a field day against a Blysma coached team. LOL |

Only feeds to my evidence that most Philly fans just don't know what they are talking about or just say whatever to make their own guys look good. |

he was probably just trying to get your goat.
99.99999% of Flyer fans realize that Crosby is the better player. Some won't admit it out loud, but they know it's true.
you just need a different Flyer friend.

Clearly that is not a true hockey fan and just the average flyers fan.
I would take Crosby before those other 4 players and I would put Giroux in position 5 of those players. |

Penguins win the hypothetical playoff series pretty easily if each game goes like that. |

If Crosby pots 2 more of his multiple chances tonight the Flyers board is complaining how much of a moron Berube is for putting Couturier on Crosby |

I don't think the matchup of Sid/Coturier was that big a deal in this game, but I do believe the better matchup for the Pens would have been Sid/Fraud. Giroux is not a good player at either end of the ice right now.
Again, I think the reason they lost this game is because they put no effort into getting dirty goals. Emery pretty much saw every shot. |

it didnt show up too much on the scoreboard but malkin really wasnt as bad as people think. i really do think if he maintains this effort the points will follow.
the team did get too cute at the end there, and needed to focus more on hitting the net.
while i am willing to be patient with malkin regardless of the box score right now if the effort is there, i am fed the (frank) up with letang |

The pens owned the game. Crosby and his line were dominant and should of had at least 2 more goals. Malkins line was ok, but i really think bennett needs to move to that line. Bennett at least throws his body around a bit.
But if the best the flyers can do is only have 21 shots and give up 35, then there really isnt anything to worry about. Id just like to get off this awful pace of winning 5 straight and losing 3 straight. Kind of frustrating. |
