To me it's going to come down to the D. I think the Isles are in good hands with Poulin. He will have bad games like any other goalie. I think if he is given enough time, he can be the guy in net. To be fair, I thought DP was a fine goalie before the injuries.

Perhaps, DP was a fine goalie before the injuries. I never thought he was an elite goalie. He always likes to get out of his net and does stupid moves. That one hurts him the most. I don't miss him, that's for sure.

Yep..that topic came up last year and that was my point. Crosby is unquestionably the best player in the NHL but if you're building a franchise, it would be difficult to start with a guy who is one hit away from trying to lick his own nostril for the rest of his life.

Off based but I just wanted you guys to know I will be gone for a little while. My depression is really getting extremely bad. Hopefully the Islanders will continue to win. you guys are great and thanks for cheering me up when I needed it.
