Sadly, Eklund is exempt since he owns the site. - jmatchett383
And that's fine, honestly. But I don't see why mods need to be hardarses about it. lol |

I am not sure if starting Emery is a good idea.
Would love to see him give fleury a can of Holtby though. :D - Bearintheforest
I like the idea of Emery tonight and Mason on Friday. Emery is a good backup goalie, and there's no reason the Flyers can't win tonight with him in net.
Plus, if Mason played tonight he'd likely be off on Friday, which means he'd be sitting for nearly a week before next Tuesday's game. With a goalie playing as well as Mase I don't want him sitting that long ... play the guy every 2 or 3 days when possible. |

It's their job. Eklund pays them so that no one breaks the CoC (more or less). If Eklund didn't ever "break" anything, then no one would come here, so the most important thing, to him, is to squash rumors from other sites unless it can be backed up by a reputable source.
I don't like it, but that's how it is. |

Because Eklund's rumors are always substantiated, and because reliable sources are always the first ones to break rumors.. lol
I guess all we need to do is just say it's from a very "reliable" source and we're good, right?
That "rule" is so contradictory because the sites that post the rumors, are more than likely not reliable in the sense of those rumors coming true. And your "reliable" sources like TSN, etc only write things that are factually happening or are supported of actually having a good chance to happen. The rule in and of itself is a paradigm in many ways.
If people are taking what they see on a forum site as gospel anyway, they have problems. It's a rumor and chatter site... hence the "buzz". I don't see what the big deal is...
"There's too much going on in the REAL hockey world without posting fake rumors and trades." I also find that amusing, considering 90% of Eklund's rumor posts don't come to fruition... 5% are previously broken by TSN or other writers... and the other 5% of the time he's right. So yeah, there's "real" things happening in the "real" hockey world... but that sure as heck isn't here... lol - WarriorHockey21
Its just a bias thing. |

No, you don't have it down. The fact that you think you have it down proves that you don't. Those are just the facts. the fact is that I have it down, and you are incorrect. I am right, and eventually, you'll realize that.

Yes. From a planning point of view it might make sense. Also, it is a good thing to actually have a backup goalie who is kept warm through the season.
I still think that, in the short run, meaning this match, Emery is a negative. Long term, and point wise in the standings, maybe not a bad choice. |

I do wonder why there is such a concern if Mason has a week off between playing game and less of a concern when it happens with Emery. Emery can't even get into a rhythm before we throw him into a tough contest. I find it to be extremely unfair and it tells me our coach doesn't think ahead. |

It's Eklund's site, he can make the rules. I don't see the problem. He's entitled to have a monopoly on rumors on his own forums. - BulliesPhan87
yes he does and while I think it is stupid......I mean, people who come on here are always going to come on here even if they see a link to another site but don't yell at Bo or OB. they don't make the rules. they just enforce what they are asked to enforce. Don't shoot the messenger |

It's less of a concern with Emery because he's clearly the backup. Kind of impossible to have BOTH the starter and the backup get into a rhythm.
or, are you being sarcastic?
