Today's Brad Marsh blog on what makes for a good NHL locker room -- both from a player interaction standpoint and a room-design standpoint -- is fascinating stuff. Brad has a level of expertise in this area that makes him uniquely qualified to discuss that topic, and the blog is packed full of great info and stories.

But he somehow managed to play in 455 games, albeit on one of the worst teams ever. - jmatchett383
I didn't realize he played that many games, but he was 1st overall and his production in those games was what makes him a big flop. |

There is also an NBCSports app. Perhaps it's on there? - bodiva88

Emery gets the start tonight - nastyflyergirl
I love Emery but much like the Red Wings game and the Capitals game, he's being thrown to the wolves once again. It will be a week since he played last and the Penguins are a much stronger team than the Sens. I'm perfectly fine with Mason being our starter, he's been outstanding but as our starter, these are the games our starter should be starting in. No if's, and's or but's about it. |

I neglected to mention that I don't have NBCSports Network, so that may make it impossible to watch. Oh well. |

Really... Whatever.
saw tweet from mynhltraderumors that the Flyers are "actively" shopping Meszaros and Luke Schenn.
There you go... I cant get onto twitter to show you the exact post, and I didnt want to post a link to a rival forum... but whatever... chase it down if you like. |

Easier question is why is he no longer an NHL GM |

Without a shadow of doubt in my mind some of the posters on this site would make better gms than milbury.
How do we get ray shero to quit and have mario hire mikey? |

The better thing would be to have some crazy Flyers fan who's a multibillionaire buy the Coyotes, and trade OEl, Yandle, etc. to the Flyers for multiple 7th round picks and have Coyotes retain all salary. |

The important thing is he was the Isles GM not that he was a GM. Why question it? |

Because Eklund's rumors are always substantiated, and because reliable sources are always the first ones to break rumors.. lol
I guess all we need to do is just say it's from a very "reliable" source and we're good, right?
That "rule" is so contradictory because the sites that post the rumors, are more than likely not reliable in the sense of those rumors coming true. And your "reliable" sources like TSN, etc only write things that are factually happening or are supported of actually having a good chance to happen. The rule in and of itself is a paradigm in many ways.
If people are taking what they see on a forum site as gospel anyway, they have problems. It's a rumor and chatter site... hence the "buzz". I don't see what the big deal is...
"There's too much going on in the REAL hockey world without posting fake rumors and trades." I also find that amusing, considering 90% of Eklund's rumor posts don't come to fruition... 5% are previously broken by TSN or other writers... and the other 5% of the time he's right. So yeah, there's "real" things happening in the "real" hockey world... but that sure as heck isn't here... lol |

Sadly, Eklund is exempt since he owns the site. |

It's Eklund's site, he can make the rules. I don't see the problem. He's entitled to have a monopoly on rumors on his own forums. |
