Didn't have much choice in the matter.... that is where I popped out.... tried to leave but my mother guilt tripped me.
As a matter of fact I'm glad she did because I was thinking about California.... This is before I became an "informed" voter.... - youarewrong
Come to Florida. Great place to live.
Its a swing state.. so it sucks during election years. |

Oh wow say hi the next time. I played for the Philly Freeze up until like 3-4 years again, then moved to the Concord Flames and now the Philly Voodoo. Not sure which you may have seen. - nastyflyergirl
I would have if I was in any position. I'm not going to be the strange guy yelling at you from the Mezzanine as you go down the escalator at a game and I'm not the type to bang on the glass during a stoppage to wave.
It was the Voodoo on the board in Aston. Must have been last season. I thought I was going to catch you coming out of a practice this summer in West Chester but the girls on that Voodoo team seemed really young. |

I want to move to Florida so bad. St. Augustine to be specific. I work for Citibank's Corporate division and I know they also have a big presence in Tampa, but I have my degree in education as does my wife. Would love to live and work in Florida during the winters and visit family up here during our summer breaks.... |

It's ok, spending the money given to NJ on those commercials (for re-election) was more important than, say, helping the people of his state crushed by Sandy. |

that was the initial plan, but it's changed. moving to the Santa Fe area. New Mexico it is. My wife briefly lived in ABQ several years before we met. She's always wanted to go back. Now we are. My mom lives in Santa Fe, so it will be nice to have family nearby to help with the little ones. |

Should have done it the Presidents way and just given the Media's family positions in governement to pay for the positive coverage....
•ABC News President Ben Sherwood, who is the brother of Elizabeth Sherwood-Randall, a top national-security adviser to President Obama.
•His counterpart at CBS, news division president David Rhodes, is the brother of Benjamin Rhodes, a key foreign-policy specialist.
•CNN’s deputy Washington bureau chief, Virginia Moseley, is married to Tom Nides, who until earlier this year was deputy secretary of state under Hillary Rodham Clinton.
•White House press secretary Jay Carney’s wife is Claire Shipman, a veteran reporter for ABC.
•NPR’s White House correspondent, Ari Shapiro, is married to a lawyer, Michael Gottlieb, who joined the White House counsel’s office in April.
•The Post’s Justice Department reporter, Sari Horwitz, is married to William B. Schultz, the general counsel of the Department of Human Services.
•[VP] Biden’s current communications director, Shailagh Murray (a former Post congressional reporter), is married to Neil King, one of the Wall Street Journal’s top political reporters.
I dont see anyone from FOX news on there... |

Luke Schenn is a bust....the whole league knows it. Except Edmonton who seem desperate and maybe prone to making a poor deal. - Just5
So, when he was playing very well in top pairing minutes as a key part of some Flyer wins down the stretch last season, did the whole league know he was a star? If not, then why do they think he's a bust after looking at a similar sample size this season?
The dude is 24, it is generally accepted that D men take longer to develop than forwards...most with that view look at the 25-27 age range before making conclusions about D men being busts or not, unless it is extremely obvious, which isn't the case here.
Luke Schenn is never going to light up the scoreboard...his value lays mostly in playing strong, physical defense and making solid plays with the puck. While it's true he has had some ups and downs, that is to be expected from a young D man as he makes his way in the NHL. Schenn may not be this player you seem to want him to live up to, but he will get better at the things he does and is expected to do over time. This stint, in the doghouse etc., is just part of the player's development. |
