I'd prefer it be creepy Pierre that got the wrath. I'd pay to see that alone.

Simmer played a whale of a game last night I thought.
The set up on the PP goal was magnificent, but he kept the puck moving forward all game and was great on the boards. He took a big hit from a Sens D and kept his cool and kept playing hockey rather then retaliate. Really liked what he brought last night.

That was a set play on the PP. They've used it man.y times before.

I'm a righty. It takes a lot to get me mad these days but when I do get mad, I can lose it. Crazy fighter
- nastyflyergirl

I don't know you personally, but I've found that the people who claim to "lose it" or "black out" are usually blowing smoke. I once fought a guy who was "crazy" because he claimed to "black out and not stop." The only way he would have blacked out would have been if I had kept on beating him till he was unconscious. Just 1 example, but the boasts seem to fit that type pretty often.

Again, not saying you, just in general.

Pang is Darren Pang, former Hawks goalie. He's like 4'10" or something.

Mason got his first shutout as a Flyer last night and the Flyers played their best game of the season but it was wrong for him to play.

Great logic.

- Feanor

Pretty much. Although there should be a clear cut plan on who's playing in a back to back situation for both goaltenders prior to last night's game. I don't think there was one.

Yeah it was. we were a good team at one time. I've been on 2 pretty damn good men's team. the Admirals and Reapers but both ended up going to poop. that team you subbed for at UPENN was a hot mess. I lasted a yr or two with them. getting too old for that nonsense
- nastyflyergirl

men's league in general is a hot mess. although the team i've been with since 2009-10, the stealth, has been together a long time, and generally well run. last year we took a downturn in losing players, and having consistent commitment from the guys. about the same this year so far. i hope the scene in ABQ/SF is ok. we shall see.

I know who Darren Pang is. I just couldnt remember who was standing inbetween the boards during the maylay.... Thought it was Panger. Him and Pierre both have a Crosby man crush.

looks like his unsubstantiated rumors just showed up on spectors hockey

from the article:

The Edmonton Journal’s Jim Matheson claimed the Flyers were “vigorously” shopping Schenn and Andrej Meszaros, but their respective contracts are difficult to move. Schenn is earning $3.6 million per season while Meszaros (an unrestricted free agent this summer) has a cap hit of $4 million.

I believe part of this may be true (mez).

Luke Schenn is a bust....the whole league knows it. Except Edmonton who seem desperate and maybe prone to making a poor deal.

If Luke Schenn's trade value is that low right now, then there is no reason to trade him. He played great last season, and is struggling under Cheif's skating system, but you cant give away the guy you traded JVR for, for peanuts because he is struggling now...

However, if he is part of a package and your getting value, then by all means... get Yakupov.

I didn't realize he hit his peak as a defenseman at the ripe age of 24

It's from Ender's Game. The Formics (called "Buggers") are a bug-like alien species that Earth has had 2 wars with.

But that's awesome, I want to go to Norway. I want to visit the beach with the 22-foot stone swords and I want to pillage a European Christian colony.
