Based on this season alone Miller should get the Olympic nod. However, Quick is the better goalie out of the two. The Kings major problem for the last 2 years, including the cup run, is their inability to finish.

I have watched both play for years, I still think Miller is the better goalie. I'm waiting for the day Miller gets to face 17 shots in a game let alone have playoff games where he faces less than 25 shots regularly. Until I see Quick routinely stand on his head like Miller has had to for 6 straight years my opinion won't change

They are both great. However, Quick has a cup and Conn Smythe to win the argument. Sure, Miller COULD have done that with LA, but you don't know for sure. We do know that Quick did it. End of argument.

IMO quick is the best in the league right now.

Also as far as the Quick v Miller team USA talk... Quick, like the Kings, is a playoff goalie. He plays best when the pressure is on. If I had 1 game to win it all, I would likely turn to Quick.

If I wanted to win a regular season then someone like Miller or Lundqvist would be the pick.

This will test the meddle of this team. With Quick being out (hopefully not more than a week or two) and Greene being out, our D is going to have start playing to its potential! Slava seems to be rounding back into form, and I've always like AMart's game over Muzzin's. Good luck to Scrivens and Jones!

How does Lewis get picked in a shootout? Dude has some of the worst hands in the entire NHL. And, true to form, he bobbled the puck and jammed it into Miller's pad as he was out of room. Would you expect anything else?

I didn't scroll through all of the posts, but Jones will be joining the Kings on the Island.

On a team like LA either of the 3 you mentioned would get the job done. However the Olympics is not a one game win situation. Miller proved that in 2010 he could carry a team that had no business being in the medal round let alone the gold medal game. Sure that was 4 years ago but look at his play last night on a garbage team that got outshot 3 to 1 and stole the game. It happens here all the time but the rest of the league doesn't seem to see it like we do since we watch him all the time

And Lewis doesn't even have the worst hands on the team... that honor would go to the Captain, DBrown. I refer to him as diamond hands and not because diamonds are precious, either.

Has Martin Jones been recalled?? This is a kid just about ready for a full time starter's role in the NHL. However, it won't been in LA. I am excited to see him play in the bigs if they give him a chance. That being said, hopefully Quick comes back Quickly, lol.

Im a huge Miller fan. But as the other guy pointed out. Quick really shines when it counts. Playoffs are when he Shines. Miller has been good for team USA. Im happy with either guy. I could see Miller getting the starting role. He might not be around for the next Olympics. Quick will have another 2 or 3 in him. Maybe even 4. But at the same time. Quick could get it. Either way. Whom ever gets it. Im happy with the next guy if the first one doesnt do well to start.

USA had business being there. I see USA playing a very physical game this Olympics. Very physical and getting the puck deep and wearing the opposition down.

Be thankful Greene is out. The team has played so much better without the Anchor on the ice. Love the guy. Great guy. But dude has got to get better at skating. Since coming back from injury he's the slowest thing ive ever seen on skates.

100% agree. Thank goodness DL wasn't just building a Cup winner, he was building a Cup winner for years to come.
