I'm shocked that Marty is getting the nod. I mean it makes sense, but I thought DeBoer would strictly adhere to his "plan". Unfortunately, Marty only gives up goals in pairs, so he's in line for a shutout, or 4 against. In the latter case the Devils have no shot. And there'll be a fatso chant.

This team is so undisciplined and stupid. Zidlicky is perfect for NJ.

Larsson got a minor. He'll be scratched for Fayne. Zids will get 1 or 2 but it's OK because he'll get an assist at some point this week.

Dominant first period territorially by NJ. Larsson and Gelinas were terrific though that was a careless penalty by Larsson at the end of the period.

Pretty good period other then the stupid mistakes. Bad Penalty by Greene and Jagr. Greene needed to hold up there and just kept going. Just stupid mistakes. Harrold needs to sit on the bench while we have a pp guy has no vision and there are just flat out better options then him for the pp.

Agree. Thought maybe the staff was just pumping his ego or trying to up his value to get something for him in a trade. Now I just think they're delusional. Harrold is probably the second biggest liability to Zidlicky with no payoff like the occasional shot or pass from Zids.

For sure he needed a little more support there but I think his development has come further since Gelinas has been up then it has the entire previous 2 seasons I am starting to get really excited about what these to will look like in the last 20 games of this season !

I hate Zid but I have gotten over him I just cant get over Harrold. He is mobile but not doesnt have a high hockey i.q and doesnt shoot hard or play defense well enough to justify the 18-20 minutes he gets a night.
