Like all those players more than Carle. - PLindbergh31
I'm sorry, I just find it difficult to believe anyone would like Randy Jones or Matt Ellison more than Matt Carle. |

Why hate Ellison for being what he is? Dislike Clarke for trading for him. |

Carle was my least favorite Flyer of all time. - PLindbergh31

York was awful. That 06-07 team was tough to watch. |

Why hate Carle? He was one of out best offensive defenseman over the last 5 years. If it's his contract, dislike Homer for offering it. If it's his acquisition, dislike Homer for trading for him. What was your problem with him? |

That team was so much worse than any Flyers team I've ever seen. When Randy Robitaille is considred a second liner (or NHLer, really), you're treading on post-lockout NYI waters. |

That 06-07 team averaged 2.61 goals per game. Please provide the date this season when the Flyers will be averaging 2.61 goals per game. |

Goals per game or not, they were just a team that bored me. They would score 5 goals and lose 6-5 or score 1 goal and lose 2-1. By far the most inept Flyers team I've ever witnessed. The roster was boring past the first line, the players were pretty bad, and the best part of the season was trading for Coburn. |

Hey... if a team is going to lose give me 6-5, opposed to these 1-0, and 2-1 snoozefests. |

I'd rather them win or at least put a roster together with competent NHL players. They were the worst team in the league, and many of their players were AHL-caliber. |

Not debating that. The talent on this Flyers team is light years above that team. |

Rome, Naples, Sorrento, Capri, Florence, and Venice... and I have heard pickpocketing is rampant over there right now.
Im a bigger guy (at least according to my Wife's Italian family.. im a hair over 6' 205 lbs.) and I can handle my own.. not that I want to.. I am gonna keep everything tight to my body. - jak521

If Billy Tibbets didn't exist, it'd be a two way tie between Mike York and Kyle Calder as the worst Flyers ever, IMO. |

I'd have to say drunkin' posting late into the night and an intense dislike/unexpurgated attack of a ref both in the thread and PM will get it done. |

Bill Meltzer: Flyers Gameday: 11/12/13 @ Ottawa - bmeltzer
Hey Guys!
I have to admit that I'm very excited about tonight's game. Tonight we'll have what I consider to be a full line up. The line combinations and defense pairings I feel are acceptable. Hopefully we can over come a hugely slumping Power Play. I feel the Flyers have a real opportunity to turn it around on the road tonight.
I cannot say I'm a Berube fan at this point. I think he's beating a dead horse by forcing something that isn't working on the PP. I never understood how Raffl earned a spot on the first line earlier this season when he'd only been in the NHL 5 minutes. I don't think it's fair to Emery to hand Steve Mason the starting job, start Mason every single game and once Mason has a bad game, Berube basically throws a rusty Emery into the fire or under a bus (which ever way you'd like to go).
Right now I'm not buying what Berube is selling just yet. When the guy dares to try something new and it doesn't work half way through a game, he goes back to something that didn't work last week. Stay the course Chief. |
