my shot looks a lot like Carles... right into shin pads. Once gave a guy a fat lip. Took a rocket shot from the point, except it was going about 12 mph and he stepped on the puck and smacked his face on the post.

HAHAHA nice - I had a friend who went there and he put his hand in his pocket to find someone else's was already there....

I don't know who was more surprised. The 12 yr-old or my buddy...

My only semi-pro goal was, sadly, a slapshot from the point. We won like 13-5 or something. One of the forwards came up to me and said, "I actually watched it trickle past the goalie. I was gonna tip it in, but I felt bad for you." Which...well, yeah, that's what it was.

no not over weight.. Im in pretty decent shape. Im just bigger than most Italians. Im the smallest in my family (out of my 2 brothers). My younger brother is 6'5 270 lbs... and my older brother is 6'2 220.

My wife is 5' 115lbs. Her brothers are 5'7 and 5'10 (5'10 being the tallest member of the family).

I tower above everyone in that family.

I wasn't a huge Carter fan either. When you think Flyers hockey you think blue collar, lunch pale hard hat, work ethic. Carter and Carle are the exact opposite of that imo.
