Mason seems to have a chance at a shutout almost EVERY game.

Great team effort tonight, well done boys!!
My 3 stars:
1. Voracek - he's been flying tonight, just awesome
2. Giroux - looked like his old self, played great
3. Mason - 1st shutout as a Flyer, could turn out to be the best acquisition Homer ever made.
Honorable mentions: Read, Coburn, Timonen, Hartnell and Gus |

great effort by everyone tonight ... the only low points were L Schenn fumbling the puck a few times. He's obviously struggling a lot with his confidence.
Everyone else looked VERY solid.

I believe Mason's shutout tonight is the first in team history by a righty-catching goaltender |

Luke Schenn got better as the 3rd period wore on. He plays better the more ice time he gets.

Who is this team? 3-1-1 since the Washington game. That was a dominant game and I give Mase the start vs Pitt tomorrow. |

I can't remember any other righty catching Flyer goaltenders, tbh....
I blame age for that.

Hopefully everyone playing well around him gets him going. He showed down the stretch last year that he can be a very effective player so Im not gonna write him off. |

And those are the kind of games why people didn't want to sell the farm for Bobby Ryan. Had the TV crew not done their whole "Cherry Hill kid" bit you wouldn't have even noticed him out there tonight. That was the exact knock on him all too often in Anaheim the last few years. |

I agrEE. Emery was brought in to play as a capable backup, use him.
No reason to grind Mason down.
