forsure... not the way to handle it.. but u can;t just play yaks and his agent..... the oilers let it become an issue.....and moreso then a translator he needed to have someone there to be buddies with.. wathing the oil change this season and last.. just seems like he is an outsider to the boys club made up of solely north american players.. if not all canadians.. in gags ebs hall nuge and shults...... almost like a future "muskoka five" in the making

This x 1000... the oiler management did nothing to help in this case- and further they let all the rumors fly for weeks about yak to be traded before what 2 or so games ago the coach finally talked to yak... and then there is also the other tensions within the org and locker room that are flying around since Smid was traded days ago...

i'm not talking about this year.. i mean years past....... if the oilers thought they weren;t good enough they would have tried to get better.... untill this season they thought all they need to do is buy time..... not make player changes.

How? He's not even close? He's been their whipping boy and a healthy scratch. Not even remotely what we need or want. He's been getting less and less ice time. 3 shifts in the third the other night and was benched for the final 12 plus minutes. Not even remotely close to being a help to us.
