I didn't even realize that Tampa is the best team in the conference right now. They will certaintly be tested to see if they can get through this still in playoff position, assuming that he would be able to come back later in the year. Hard to see that happening, but the Sens did it last year. |

That was not a dirty play, I didn't see a slew foot, just a Dman taking his man. Old school.

Just joking Mr. Levine. That kid is seriously delusional on there. MAYBE Hamilton drove him in, but it was a hockey play, no intent at all there to injure Stamkos. Horrible end result. |

He's way over the top though. And every single other fan coming in he's challenging & being hostile when all I see is people sending their condolences to Tampa fans (which is just him anyway). |

Reminds me of Steve Somers back in the day joking about what the Devils parade was like. 2 guys clapping & an old bicycle horn. |

Igor Larionov says he's got a trip planned to Edmonton to discuss how Nail Yakupov is being used. Pretty unhappy.

I like how they captured Kreider's "I must break you" face - TPC
Minus that penalty last night, I thought he played well again. |

Yeah, imagine if he was being used here on the 4th line. People would wage war with each other. Kid might have elite level talent, but the dog and pony that has now accompanied it is almost becoming to much. |

Tom, I think you are right, but I think the dog and poney show is the organizations fault, especially when you see their top brass in every rink in America but their own, when these trade rumors are going on. If they trade him, and they don't get a boatload back, they will live to regret it, mark my words. He is a tough kid. He's no daisy, and while he may not be totally ready for prime time now, he will be soon. Even Steve Stamkos watched a couple of games from the press box at his age.
The Oilers need to do a better job of insulating him better from all this BS. He is a young player that is struggling a little, and they've let it turn into a big deal. |

He can't be used with bottom 6 players. He's just not that type of player. It's like using Richards and Kreider on the 3rd and 4th lines. I understand that he was probably misquoted and didn't understand what he said when he mentioned not playing at 100% effort on every play. But I want no part of the Russian committee coming to new york saying to Sather, AV, etc that Yakupov must be used on the top 2 lines and on the 1st power play unit. You think Steve Yzerman would say that about Richards or David Pollie about Ryan Callahan? Not a chance. |

Larionov is his agent. Not saying that I agree with agents female doging about how their player is being used, but it happens all the time, Russian or not. |

Allan Walsh case in point. I'm just saying this circus with this kid growning and not in a good way. Once you commit to him, especially via trade, that's it. You've now made him the face of the franchise. |

With NYR GM Glen Sather in TOR for HHOF/GMs meeting, expectation is there'll be Henrik Lundqvist contract talks with agent Don Meehan. |

If EDM unhappy with him, Larionov said Yak open to trade: "We're willing to make a move. Any team. That happens and that's part of life." |

What do you guys think about talking to the Panthers about Gudbranson? He has struggled early in his career, but I can see him turning the corner and becoming a very strong defensemen, who also has a right handed shot. Not sure what his status is down there, however. |
