Negotiations have started with Diaz.

It is really strange.

Not to mention with these unbalanced divisions, I have a feeling we'll see a lot of wierd stuff with this playoff format.

With the amount of the schedule that is going to playing the Western Conference teams, they may as well just take the top 16 teams and seed 1-16 and go with that... If not then either pick divisional or conference. Who cares if the wildcard can cross over, why does it change the playoff format if that happens... pretty dumb.

These non Habs fans here are on my nerves.

When did EE become the refuge centre for fans of other teams that kicked them out of their own blogs?

From what I understand, Meehan is there to negociate PK's contract, but he's also Diaz' agent, so they might have a couple of words about this, while he's here.

Most games, I'm ok with Diaz. He shouldn't be playing top 4 but he'd be fine as 5-6. I just don't why he's a priority.

Maybe it's an over-reaction my part because of the last 15 years, but I want some bruising players on the blueline for spots 5-6. Even if it means playing a forward on the point of the PP because our blue line is a bit less offensively gifted. I'm sooooo tired of our soft blue line that scares no one.

Cheers to that!

Although I cringe when I see Murray on the ice.

I prefer seeing him to Bouillon and Gorges at this point. He is slow but at least he forces the opposition to skate with their heads on a swivel in the Habs D-zone.

I was a big fan of Gorges but I must admit he's been pretty average since that major injury. He's not the same.

Bouillon will continue to get worse. He shouldn't be playing those kind of minutes. At this point of his career, he should be a #6-#7 who comes in when injuries occur. He's playing on the PP and playing close to 18 minutes a game.

It speaks volume about our lack of depth.

It gets harder every game to convince myself that the Habs aren't a bad team.

It's not just a lack of depth. We have guys in Hamilton who should be getting broken into the lineup for the future. But this organization has no time for them.
