I was Viator before the girls were allowed ('80)... Used to see a lot of Hersey kids at lunch at Luke's (now THAT is a joint...). Grew up in Mt. Prospect, parents are in AH and a brother in Palatine. Great area.

I graduated from Wheeling in 70...I believe it was 68 when Hersey opened, give or take a year and it seemed like we lost half our student body...then a few years after I graduated Buffalo Grove HS opened I believe and we lost a lot more..

Yes on both counts. Grew up right on the border, went to Thomas Jr. High too.

My sister recalls a long-haired Dave Corzine walking the halls.

Flashbacks...wow. Luke's and Peep's were regular lunch spots...the Hersey campus was wide open when I went there.

Viator class of '80 eh. One of my good friends was raised in Mr. Prospect, lived just east of Randhurst.

I don't disagree, and I know I'm hyperbolic during some of these games. It's all about expectations, and mine are high for this club so I get aggravated when they struggle with lottery teams.

I'm hoping that they clean up their game by New Years.

Nice goal by Ladd and the Jets to tie up the Sharks late.
