I'm a couple blocks north of downtown. Lou's has a carryout only in Prospect Heights at Camp McDonald and 83

Still the best possession team in the league, 6-0-1 in their last 7. Do I wish they'd play a little tighter in their own zone, sometimes, but I think its unfair to expect any better than this until the playoffs

I hate WGN games. I have to go hunting around the internet for a stream and then don't even get any good analysis after. CSN is too busy showing some scrub poker players. Stuck with the edmonton announcers today. They were pretty good, if boring, most of the game. Got a little homerish in the last 5 but nothing egregious.

Are the Oilcans mathematically eliminated from the playoffs yet? The Hawks played like they were and felt sorry for the kids on that team. Meanwhile Q was scribbling notes pretending to be concerned.

Couple things I noted about the canadian broadcast: they are good at getting little advertisements in during the icings. Just a quick little 15 second ad while the players skate back down the ice. Have to think that will catch on in US at some point. Also Tim Horton's commercials. Finally, I'm pretty sure they gave away an e-cigarette at the end of the broadcast...weird.

I don't disagree, and I know I'm hyperbolic during some of these games. It's all about expectations, and mine are high for this club so I get aggravated when they struggle with lottery teams.

I'm hoping that they clean up their game by New Years.

Nice goal by Ladd and the Jets to tie up the Sharks late.

Me too, and tonight I got an Edmonton feed. It was interesting to see how different the commercials are up there, with ads for "mega-hockey" supply stores, and some parody about a guy destroying his heirloom grandfather clock to win a hockey ticket...

...But, yeah, WGN radio has a fine post-game show. Haven't heard anything about Roszy, but then again, why would we? Why would tonight's injury news be any different from any other night?
