Don't know what it is about the Oilers, but I think if they had 100 Power Play chances against the Hawks, they'd score about 98 times. If I remember correctly, they had a game at the UC last year where they scored 4 power plays, including one by Yakupov that was identical to the one he scored tonight.

Game was starting to look like the Calgary game last weekend, especially with the way Dubnyk was playing in the 2nd period. Didn't look particular sharp tonight, but they got the 2 points and that's all that matters.

Good weekend to take 4 points against a Stars team that had been playing well, and an Oiler team that totally sucks, yet somehow gives the Hawks fits every time they play them.

They don't play that way against good teams. They just like playing river hockey against Edmonton. Just another game checked off the long list of regular season tilts - you won't even remember it in a week.
