I was just looking at our schedule and starting on Nov. 19th we will begin a streak of playing 18 games in 34 days.

I have a feeling that the quick turnaround will show what we are all about, good or bad.

If they need to give up a defensive defenseman my #1 choice would be Grossman. Mainly because he's taken alot of abuse to his body and his play is just going to continue to deteriorate. Schenn will hopefully continue to improve but as a defensive defenseman, will never be worth a first round pick.

the only Dman anybody would give anything for is coburn. we can't trade him as he is probably the best overall one we have. as for trades in general, if they are made they should be bringing back picks and/or prospects not aging rental players

I believe so. The cupcake portion of the schedule is now officially over.

I really hope, in an ironic way, this is just what we need.

With all the testimonials I have heard about bonding on long road trips, maybe someone will displace Hartsy as team clown and #19 can focus on his game.

And I loved Giroux's game yesterday and he is an MVP candidate when he plays like that, but his absence through the first 10th of the season should be absolutely disconcerting.

True
Lets see them take at least 4 out of 6 points on this 3 game road trip, then we'll see where they are.

I'd be happy with that.

I'd be ecstatic if 2 of those points are againt Pittsburgh on Wednesday.

If it's going to truly go south this year, this will be time when it happens.

I think the time on the road will actually help these jokers.
