I like the trade and dont like the trade, now I like the trade because the Oil gets a goalie with high potential to be that number one, I follow his play while playing for the Oil kings and he was spectacular, trust me guys MacT knows He got his goalie that he wanted, Bryz signing is just to give Dubnyk back his backup job and take some pressure away from him, now I dont like the trade because is with Calgary and is going to be strange seen Smid wearing a Flame jersey,MacT didnt like Smid and dont trust Dubnyk, this deal and signing of Briz is a message to all the fans that though that Dubnyk was the real deal, I will say this knowing that I might get blasted by some Flames fans and Oil fans, the Oil to me got the better Goalie from all the Flames Goalies.

completely wrong, go back to the pens/philly series if you want further examples. Playing against the Flyers the Isles continually were beaten...by Bobrovsky. When Bryz was in net we had a good chance.

People have brought up Bryz on the Isles board, with one or two exceptions, none of us wanted his issues and crappy play anywhere near our team, we'd even take Nabby over him...and Nabby is just awful.

But seriously. Why is anyone actually upset about this? Your current goalie is god awful and you gave up nothing for Bryz other than some money. Didn't lose any prospects or young players and Bryz is going to be trying his best as he knows this is his last kick at the can.

The reward far outweighs the risk in my opinion and if it all goes to $hit, we'll at least have some good post game interviews

Who is upset? Pretty sure the risk/benefit ratio of this deal, sways to the benefit side a little with the way sucknyk has been playing. The current backup is poop as well.
