Thats absurd considering Bryz's alternatives were 1) Not playing or 2) Making 350 bucks a week playing in the ECHL.

Been there, done that. Its fun, but probably not if you're used to first class travel and world class facilities.

I just traded for Giroux in my keeper league, I'm banking on him waking up soon enough. His on-ice shooting% is way too low for a player of his talent.

No idea. (frank)ing guys on tsn are talking like Bryz has been the worst goalie NHL. He had bad seasons in Philly where every goalie does, maybe it's not the goalie but the poop team snider tries to build. If Oilers upgrade the d and have Bryz they will be hell of a lot better than they have been.

all due respect, I haven't seen anyone say Bryz was a good idea prior to this announced signing. This looks like you're making a case for him as a fan, but if he was somewhere else he'd still be a joke.

flyers goaltending with steve "fourth chance" mason and ray "backup" emery seems to be not bad this year, despite no scoring support and at times crappy defense. Bryz looked terrible in Philly and it wasn't due to defense. He's a bad goaltender that looked better behind a tremendously good defensive system in Phoenix.

We would have given you Nabby if you were that desperate...he's equally terrible.

If they give up Hemsky and Eberle in this deal they won;t have to hang Lowe or MacT's number from the rafters..the fans will just simple hang them instead.

Thing is that Bryz is highly unlikely to be as bad as Dubnyk and Labarbera have been thus far.

I'd rank Eberle as more valuable to the Oilers than RNH and only slightly below Hall. He's a fantastic talent and if they trade him...I think they're going to be very disappointed.

The thing was he was not horrible he held them in games as well everyone wants to poop on him. No he didn't have great numbers but he had no help

completely wrong, go back to the pens/philly series if you want further examples. Playing against the Flyers the Isles continually were beaten...by Bobrovsky. When Bryz was in net we had a good chance.

People have brought up Bryz on the Isles board, with one or two exceptions, none of us wanted his issues and crappy play anywhere near our team, we'd even take Nabby over him...and Nabby is just awful.
