Swap B. Schenn for Couturier and I strongly consider it but that 1st is looking like Ekblad and I don't know if getting them will turn our fortunes around enough now or in the next 5 to 10 years to make it worth it. My opinion anyway.

I'd hardly say that Simmonds, Schenn, Couterier, and Voracek are just role players. Both Cooter and Schenn hold big upside, Simmonds is at least a top-9 winger capable of playing skill, and Voracek is a complimentary top-line winger. I believe there was even another pick in there somewhere, as well. Obviously hindsight makes that trade look bad as LA won a Cup with those two, but it's not like all those players have topped out.
