you act as if he's 33 years old and on the decline. he's 25. he scored 28 goals as a 23 year old, and was on pace for 27 as a 24 year old. to say he's going to regress for the rest of his career is a little crazy.

he's young, and he's going to get better, and he will score 30 a few times in a his career. every single year? maybe not. but i can't imagine him not scoring at least 20-25 barring a bad year or 2.

It's interesting to consider that ad Dubnyk and Labarbara had even put up the numbers Bryz put up in Philly (.900 to .909), Smid is likely still an Oiler and this team's record is likely closer to 7-8-2 as opposed to 4-11-2. There have been a number of games where even a .900 save percentage could've salvaged the team a win, but they just couldn't get a save when they needed it.

I read a website today that suggested going 38-19-8 over the last 65 would give us a 62% chance of making it. That's pretty difficult, but not as bad as I would have expected.

Bryz gets first period, LaBackup the second and Dubnyk the third.. to ensure no Oiler lead is safe. Bachman if it goes to overtime/shootout somehow

The difference between Dubnyk's .878 and .905 is like 8 goals or something. Think about 8 goals you'd want back this season, and how many wins that would get you.

We could have had Pacioretty instead of Riley Nash...the Plante pick sucked for us, but that was kind of dead zone in terms of players that came right after him.
