haha we're having fun eh guys? but seriously though, jokes aside: if the habs score on the opportunities and the opposition doesn't, then the habs can easily win more games. |

Still trying to figure out why they felt the need to go after Brière after missing out on Lecavalier. - Pecafan Fan
I agree. That was just bad!
It almost makes me believe that there's really is a pressure to acquire Quebecers in Montreal regardless of the needs of the team. |

I'd leave him on the team ahead of Bouillon and Gorges at this point... |

Not sure who said it earlier but looks like we might have a very interesting trade deadline. Time to move the dead wood for picks and prospects... |

the habs' dead wood isn't worth picks and/or prospects.
they'd be lucky if anyone gets picked up on re-entry waivers.
and no symba, I said "re-entry" not "rear-entry" don't get all bonered up. |

Factors for DD to become effective,
- Plays at center Commission scientist to invent time machine.
- offensive role only Buy monkey to test time machine
- needs to play with power forward winger Take time machine back to 2011.
- at least one winger with above average offensive skills Stay there forever.

Not sure I agree. Gionta will be able to get us something. Guy isn't completely finished. Hard to be effective when 7/9 top 9 forwards are perimeter players.
In the right situation, he could be effective... if not, then hopefully another GM thinks like I do. (maybe a 2nd in return?)
in MB's place, I'd be completely willing to part ways with Diaz for a similar return. Ditto with Gorges. Murray and Bouillon will likely get late picks if anything at all.
Does a team come calling for either White or Parros?
And then the really interesting part. Does MB resign Markov, or trade him? If the latter is the decision, what becomes the asking price. (Having a good year. PP Generals like him are hard to come by. Gonchar 5M out of Dallas.) |

Markov isn't dead wood to the habs. he's their second best defenseman.
they have nobody who has proven capable of replacing him in the near future. |

Thought at the time they should have used it on Gorges and bit the bullet on Kaberle. Kaberle was the easy decision that came with no questions. - scotch_tape
