By the time he got to the net Fucale was called up from Halifax and asked to block it.

so the 6-11 Isles coming in on a quick turnaround (played last night) to play a well rested Habs team that has barely travelled in the past 8 days. that doesn't align too often.

George Parros is a health scratch tonight vs Islanders. Gabriel Dumont will take his spot

agree with that really. there's no need to play Parros unless it's a game where a fight is inevitable, like against Toronto, Boston, maybe Ottawa and Buffalo. otherwise, you're effectively dressing 11 forwards.

as much as this team looks like it's getting worse as the season goes on, i cannot see them losing this game. i just don't think they're really as bad as they have looked the last 2 weeks.

i think that's the only way DD has any chance to not be useless.
when he's healthy, don't think it would hurt to try Prust and Pacioretty with DD.

Bourque on 4th line or are you assuming that Gionta will be injured by that point?

if everyone is healthy, probably Bournival gets bumped down to play with White and Moen. i just think it would be worth trying. though the idea of having to set the lineup based on a guy with no goals in almost half a season's worth of games is sickening.

How fast does he return to the pressbox if he doesn't break through and Brière is ready to come back?

Prust-DD-Bourque seemed to start clicking before Prust got injured. Can be a decent 3rd line.

Yeah, I'm just wondering if he and Prust are good to go and DD hasn't produced, the lineup could easily look more like this:

Bournival-Plekanec-Gionta
Galchenyuk-Eller-Gallagher
Pacioretty-Brière-Prust
Bourque-White-Moen

Don't worry. Playoff time isn't really close so I'm sure he'll play about 10 games before being injured again.

I think Brière is doing a great job on the LTIR.
