Lehner was lucky at times, but by playing well you create your luck.

He was better than Price, and the Sens played a better game in their zone than the habs did, even if the Habs had the puck for 3/4 of the game.

It worked!

They were opportunistic, but Lehner saved their bacon more than once. Goaltenders are part of the game, but you can't expect such performances from goalkeepers every game.

Anderson pulled it 5 times last spring, then he looked like a fool against the Pens.

Yup bacon-saving goaltending can get you so far.. in my mind perfect example of quality vs. non-quality teams capitilizing would be Pens vs. Habs against us in the playoffs. Pens overwhelmed us while Mtl absolutely did not.

such are the nature of scoring chances.

no sense harping on what did or didn't come of them, getting bad puck luck or running into a hot goalie is part of the game as you know. time will tell but at some point you can't chalk it up to being unlucky.. saying the Habs bad mistakes all lead to goals and of the many Sens mistakes only one ended up burning them is silly, good teams capitilize.
