This team is too soft. And misses too many chances. And lacks talent.

There were at least 7 chances from in close that could've resulted in goals. Markov had four on his own. Gallagher in front, Eller on the side, Galchenyuk all by himself, Diaz who missed a 2-on-0 chance on the pp off a turnover, setup by Galchenyuk.

They made three bad mistakes that led to goals against. The Sens made a bunch themselves, and it only led to one.

You may think we were watching different games, but I'd imagine you saw those chances...

- EricEngels

so its easily possible the habs couldve had 8 goals. we agree on this.

but the question then becomes: how many chances did the Sens have that could've resulted in goals?

obviously, we can't figure out a possible alternate final score unless we figure this out

this is such a cop out.

the fact is that this team has lost four, is unable to beat a division rival that is ranked lower than them and doesn't look like it has anything going for it that could right this ship.

if the puck bounces here, if the puck bounces there... but it didn't and they lost a pretty key game and too often lately the puck doesn't bounce their way becasue they don't get into the areas where they can get to those bounces.

look at goals 1, 2 and 3 for the sens and look where they had a man right in the crease.

aside from a 4'3" 2nd year player, who's doing that for the Habs?

if you're Geoff Molson and you're happy with your management and coaching team saying "well we hand chances we just didn't score" then you're in the wrong business

bottom line is this: If the habs had scored more often than the sens they could have won the game.

Sorry Eric. I mocked Adam on a previous post (or did I??), about Habs getting unlucky bounces.

What I really think you are trying to say here is Lehner > Price?

Would you say that's correct?
