You obviously never listened to Roenick or Pronger interviews.... pure gold.

I always felt like Brett Hull said whatever he felt like and it was hilarious, but JR was consciously trying to be hilarious.

Just my opinion.

Either way, there was nothing insightful.

Imagine if the league's worst defensive team shuts the Flyers out tomorrow.

If the coach hadn't already been fired I would think that the players were trying to get the coach fired. There's really not a good reason for this unprecedented level of offensive ineptitude.

* The Flyers have scored just two goals in their last four games, and are averaging 1.47 goals per game on the season. By way of comparison, even the 1930-31 Philadelphia Quakers -- perhaps the worst team in NHL history -- managed 1.73 goals per game.

I just hope they do nothing rash. I like the Downie deal. They will snap out of it when they all decide to keep their feet moving and their sticks on the ice. The frustrating part is seeing them constantly being outworked mentally and physically.

I guess it is because losing is a disease:

Why would you do a thing like that?

Because I hate to see a kid who no one has seen play get trashed on this thread.

So we have Giroux who is a young, basically point per game player when playing good. He is having one bad season and we talk about trading him away, sitting him, and taking the 'C' from him?? Sounds smart to me

I dont think it's Eberle, I still think its Yakupov.... too much smoke for there not to be Fire, but I just don't think its Eberle.

If its Eberle.... Coburn, Simmonds, Couturier?

If its Yakupov.... Hartnell, Coburn, Couturier?

I'm going to go out ona limb and say there's absolutely zero chance Yakupov is coming here.

Is Meszaros even tradable ?
Can we trade Streit he's the biggest disappointment of the season for me, even more than Roo.

At this point, your not on a very steady limb.... People have been busting my balls about Yakupov.... and I think a few might be worried I might have bragging rights for a while....

And the most disappointing to me is Timonen.

I would trade Mesz for the ghost of Jaroslav Modry right now.

Whoa.

It doesn't necessarily have to be the Flyers, though -- there are some other seriously awful teams out there who are pretty much sick and tired of how this season has gone, too.

That would be amazing. I've seen Edmonton play five or six times, and they are to defense what we are to offense. They are truly that bad defensively.

If we don't score three goals tomorrow, you seriously have to question just how we will be able to do that anytime soon.

IMO there is just too much smoke for there not to be fire...

Lets consider last week we heard that the Flyers needed to not only win, but in convincingly these next few games... and that has not happened.

Add to that all the discussions between Flyers and Edmonton, with Flyers scouts at Edmonton games and Edmonton scouts at Flyers games.

I'm not sure how it was leaked that Eberle was involved, or even if that was true, but.... SMOKE.

He said that there's 1 major deal being discussed today, and the kind that needs approval from NHL.
