I sure enjoy watching the Flyers get booed at home

Watching that justifies the cost of my center ice for the whole year

Which happens first, Holmgren makes a stupid deal thinking it helps, or he gets canned?

If Ed Snider was at the game tonite , which I'm sure he was I think Holms gets canned soon, it was ugly after each PP that failed they booed and at the end of the game baaddd , Fans are pissed.

I used to enjoy watching the Flyers implode, but that Canes/Flyers game the other night was like washing my eyes with acid.

They're a little like the Steelers. Big problems and no quick fixes. Homer has to go. How can they trust him to fix the mess he's created?

Neither do I. I thought after the Streit contract, that was enough.

Giroux left the game without talking to the media, chatting with Ed Snider

I honestly wonder what Giroux would be chatting with Snider about. Trade request? Giving up the "C"? Holmgren getting canned?

Just for fun. At the deadline:

Brodeur & Jagr for Sutter? Jags career comes full circle and Marty is the feel good story looking for one more cup whenever Fleury decides to go AWOL in the playoffs?

Devil, have a Snickers. You trade talk like Ek when you're hungry.

I think Brodeur to Pitt is not an impossibility. But not Jagr, and not for Sutter.

That wouldn't be fun for the Pens. Give up a quality third line center for two guys ready to retire? That is a horrible deal. We might be able to use Brodeur though for like a third rounder.

Alright, alright, I didn't how highly you thought of Sutter, I suppose I haven't watched him enough. But I still think you will need a vet goalie for the playoffs. Doesn't mean it has to be Brodeur, but Pitt is too good to keep getting swept in the playoffs...

Also, you don't have to be jerks about it, I just like kicking around trades when there's nothing going on.

Rule 1 ... if you don't watch a player enough, don't suggest a deal like this. Asking for Sutter for two guys passed their prime is a bit much. I would like Brodeur come play-off time, but Sutter is too much to give up for those two combined.

No one was being a jerk either.
