You know, it's funny -- like I said, when people are positive and they say things with conviction, I try to see their points of view and talk myself into thinking good things about this team.

But this team...they're bad. I knew they were bad in the preseason. I knew that it wasn't Peter Laviolette's fault and that Craig Berube wasn't going to help this team score.

This roster as it currently stands is too slow, too unskilled, does not have enough hockey sense, to score three goals per game in the National Hockey League.

They've shown that for the past season-plus. This is exactly the same team we saw last year, without the power play to cover it up.

They're just awful. Just flat-out awful.

Meszaros can't play. If you're hell-bent on not playing Luke Schenn and Erik Gustafsson, you might as well bring Bruno Gervais up, because at least he can skate. It's not going to cost you any more, because Meszaros' cap hit is the gift that keeps on giving. Press box or in the AHL, on waivers or whatever...just...stop it.

I could go on and on. The Flyers just need to stop playing the guys we all know, or should know, can't play anymore.

I think thats pointless at this point. They must know they dont have the talent, and are what they are.

Its like going to Grossmann and talking to him about contributing more offensively. They cant do it, and at this point, I think they know it.

maybe G called a team meeting to announce he's stepping down as captain.

that would immediately increase my respect for him.
