Not that Streit is a speed demon or anything, but his (lack of) speed is greatly exaggerated. He does alright. I do agree that our D needs more speed, though.

Throw in Giroux, Voracek, LeCavalier and Read as your only guys with any creativity up front. That can handle the puck well. Now take into account that they dont really do it all that consistently as is.

Now for poops and giggles, I'll agree and say that an antique Streit and Timonen are your only puck movers on the back end. As Guss isnt even playing.
