Giroux has the puck on the doorstep with a swimming Broduer and he passes it away.

After 2

Guelph - 4
London - 4

Stolarz with 19 saves (terrible defense in that 2nd period)

Lecavalier

Cool so thats 4 guys, and nobody on defense. Not even saying that LeCavalier's game will be slipping as time goes on.

Maybe Timonen if he finds the fountain of youth.

Rather than boo or chant, I would love to see every fan in the building simply get up and leave after the 2nd. Maybe then Comcast would start to take notice.

as do i. maybe its poorly constructed or whatever, but its hard for me to understand why, if you evaluate each individual player in a vacuum, they are this bad. there are still over a handful of guys where id look at them objectively and gladly take them on any team

Even though it's already been said (insert absurd number) times, I think they just need to work harder. That's the only real way to get out of a serious slump. Work your ass off until the slump breaks.

do they need to look so dejected and depressed on the bench down one (frank)ing goal?

Problem is it's becoming more of a pattern than a slump

Streit has offensive creativity. When he's playing, Gus has it. Timonen should have it, he always has.

A complete and total lack of heart coupled with a complete and total lack of brains?

This team just...I guess we just gotta buckle up for another 67 games of something similar to this, if they keep this same roster.

Someone was really optimistic that the team was going to turn it around, and he/she believed it so deeply, I just about convinced myself that it could happen.

But...we could barely beat New Jersey some years when we were scoring 3, 3.25 goals a night.

We could probably play tonight for 18 periods and not get to three goals.

I feel like I'm being tortured.

It is becoming physically painful to watch these games.

i honestly wouldnt claim to know what it is. im not saying they should be world beaters, but i really dont know what it is. although i will say that giroux has a case of the postseason fleuries right now. i dont know what other explanation for him personally there could be.

Holmgren has been (frank)ing praying on Timonen staying productive, and its finally bit him in the ass.

If Guss and an aging, turtle paced Streit are your best puck movers on defense. You have issues.

Wow.

Just when I think I've got it bad, you get that reminder that some poor people paid to watch this.

Not that Streit is a speed demon or anything, but his (lack of) speed is greatly exaggerated. He does alright. I do agree that our D needs more speed, though.

Trying to keep the faith really bad with this team...

The desire to cry for an addition of some offensive talent is righ tnear the surface...

It has to be difficult for Clement to find something positive to talk about in between periods
