I dont even feel that its chemistry. A mix of too many guys who cant handle the puck for poop is my main issue.

That and say what you will but the effort isnt there consistently. The emotion/intensity is even more scarce.

Remember all those games they used to have against the Penguins that woke this team up when they were in slumps? When things got chippy, and kind of dirty? Thats how they need to play, and they are built to do so. Its as if they are scared, and the coaching staff for a while now, has told them to play like some moronic machine.

He has all the toosl, except hockey sense. It leads him to hesitate at times and not be as forceful as a guy with his size and skill should be. Huge, good skater, good passer when he's focused. Big shot.

From the looks of the comments I'm glad I'm not watching. Hopefully they start showing life in the 2nd. Are the fans at the game at least treating them nice?

they were the only line with energy and the only ones to really create anything. aside from the mezy mini break which got nullified, the 3 on 2 which didn't turn into a shot a goal and the coots point blank shot that hit a stick and went over the net.

i have never, and i mean NEVER seen a flyers team so consistently void of energy, compete level, and ability to possess the puck and create offense. it's offensive.

That to a degree can be alright though.

You can be intimidating. Create havoc, get involved after the whistle, and punish teams. This is an ability they DO have. They are playing soft.

Play to your strengths. Thats all I want from the rest of this game. For it to get chippy, and them to initiate.

Paying attention to D is one thing, and ensuring that you are in good position is another. However this poop is predictable and wont help anything.
