2- Couturier was regarded to be a top 3 pick in his draft class but slipped to 8th and was considered a steal. Now that doesn't mean he's guaranteed to be a great player because we know there are draft picks that don't work out, even high ones.

I think the entire proposal is absurd, but rather than pick apart every piece of it, I'll just add that the Flyers are pretty happy with Mason at the moment. |
