Point is, people were using "Centre" to describe the position. Who gives a poop what the Yanks do. Did they invent the language? No so they can (frank) off.

Speaking of centre...Ive played center (teehee) my entire life and decided to try defense last night for the first time...though I played well, we lost 12-2 and I jokingly asked my goalie if it was a ploy to get me back to offense...he wasnt in a joking mood at the time lol

I remember when my son was about 8 playing goalie and he got lit up like 11 - 0 or something horrible like that. I jokingly asked him how that game was? He told me "I think I really let my team down in the 2nd period" I had to laugh it was like 7 - 0 by the 2nd. Told him 11 - 0 is definitely a team loss lol

no...the team had a bad game overall and a few too many softies were let in...I think I was left alone on far too many 2/3 on 1's last night which were fun to try and manage on my first go on defense lol

I really don't understand the hate for Liles. Yes, his game was never the same after the head injury, and thus didn't quite live up to the contract he signed. I however would have no problem if he slid into the lineup for a few games for either Gardiner or Rielly.

Edit, I would even prefer him to Gunnarsson, who IMO has really never recovered from his hip injury. He is a turnover machine, and slow, and honestly not a very good passer...
