We were looking for a cave that we wanted to camp in... But the sun was setting and we were 9 kms from my car.. so we high-tailed it out of there before we became Grizzly dinner. |

Grizzly's were the worst, so unpredictable. Black bears you could scare off.
Worst I came across was a mountain lion/cougar. We hid in the van for hours that day waiting for the supervisor to show up with the gun to scare it off. |

Oh i know! I chased off a few black bears... But there was no way i was getting out of the truck when a Grizzly was near by.. I didn't see any mountain lions in BC, but i've seen them in Alberta on oil leases. I had a black bear ravage my tent in Tumbler one day lol.. Little (frank)er.. Funniest thing of all though were the ravens. They would steal people entire lunches |
