What did they get you to plant primarily? Lot of muck or did you get any cream land? (ie. jack pine land).

Well it was mostly spruce and pine... But we also did fir, cottonwood, saskatoonberry, mulberry, and larch. For a few days we planted "donkeys" (large spruce, donkey Richards) and they were 15 cents a tree but only 110 would fit in a box. So you'd plant like 20 boxes lol.

We had some absolutly brutal land. So bad that i doubt any of the trees i planted grew hahah.. It was all brush! No matter how far down you stick your shovel it's just sticks.. But one day we had a perfectly flat sandy lake bed... but the company let eveyone plant there and it was done by noon.. I planted 2200 in 4 hours that day. Once it started getting weedy and you cant see (frank) all i just planted where ever the (frank) i felt like. Once the wasps started coming out i couldnt wait til it ended.
