I'm hopeful that Bernier can get to a point where he matches Tukka, and I still like Reimer too, but right now, in this league, there's no other goalie I'd take over Rask. It pains me to say it knowing he was once ours. I wish it wasn't the case too.

I don't think either will reach Rask's level, but I'm going to predict that Reimer has the better career than Bernier.

I have no idea where each will end up in 5, 10, 15 years - or even 1 - but I think Reimer has the type of scrappy work ethic that will ward off complacency. He's got raw tools and a willingness to improve. I will never count out that combination.

Bernier definitely has a polish on him from years of elite training, but I also see a bit of complacency in his game.

I have a worse confession. I after game 3, I stopped watching as well, yet I was home every night, and had Cable, internet and cell service. Although I watched game 7, I never felt bad about bailing on the Leafs, because I am sick of being the battered boyfriend to these female doges.
