Yeah but you're basing Clarkson on 5 games.

And Iggy always was interested in Boston and wanted a cup.

- RogerRoeper

No, I was basing Clarkson off of his whole body of work, and at the time I was saying Iginla would bring more to the Leafs than Clarkson.

The damage would be in the standing. Theres no way they keep moving at this clip with the injuries they have without acquiring another center. The question is can they bank enough points over the next few months to challenge for a decent playoff spot. I don't think they will miss the playoffs, but really don't want the Leafs playing Boston in the first round again.

The Bruins don't scare me. The Leafs had them beat with an inferior team last year. No team worries me in the East.

The Leafs have elite goaltending. They can get through this.

Its been 5 games.
- UsernameUnknown

so. It took one game to realize Rielly is a stud. After 5 games Clarkson is looking like a dud. Sure it could change, we'll see.

But again, there's a lot of guys who we would want over Clarkson, but they have to want to sign in Toronto. Clarkson grew up near the city. He wanted to come here. Iginla was at the stage he wanted a cup.

I'm sure we could have, especially with the contract we offered Clarkson....money talks, especially when it's guaranteed. Regardless, the majority here was saying I was nuts, and that Clarkson is better.
- ThePresident

A cup is worth more than money that would be on the table. I mean its not like hes exactly hurting for cash

If Iginla was offered 2 years at 10 million, I think he would have taken it.....

That's what they'd like you to believe....it's not exactly like the Bruins are light years ahead of the Leafs.

His point is that Iginla would contribute more, whether or not he wanted to play here. Who gives a poop where Clarkson grew up.

To us or everyone else. The experts say leafs over acheived. Look at where leafs are projected to finish. They were looked at as a fringe playoff team by alot of experts

The "Experts" are wrong so many times. They thought Ottawa was a contender.

It better not be (frank)ing Rielly!!!

I seriously won't watch in protest.

I bet it will be I've loved his game. He has not been our worst defenceman, he should get to stay in I think.

Rask is a better goalie. This is dumb. Nuff said.

Rask has a better GAA and the same save%

The schedule is on our side, the next couple of weeks.

New Jersey win
Boston loss
Minnesota loss
Buffalo win
Buffalo win

If we get through this, then we should have Bozak back. Although he's not the greatest, he is a centre and we can muddle through, until after Christmas.
