The penguins have the uncanny ability to dominate a period and be losing 2-0 to a poopty team like the Rags. Didn't see the two scores because I was driving home, but saw everything up to the hit post by the Pens. What the hell happened? I'm sure one goal was a gift. After all, the Rags couldn't score on a pee-wee goalie. - Oneonta Penguin

Orpik too hesitant to shoot there. Bad turnover. Didn't keep feet moving.
Not his best night. Pucks need to get deep. - HopintheCordoba
PP is sucking. NY is being physical and it's paying off. |

Completely lost focus and now getting completely outworked. Trying to win on talent alone.
More wonderful Puck management......laughable.
WTF is Jefferey doing in this game. (frank) him. He sucks. |

Not if we keep serving hot turnovers of every flavor to the Rangers. We just suck and Fleury looks pedestrian. It's one of those nights where I am holding my breath every time there is a rush the other way. |

Fleury was off his angle on goal 2, thats where the criticism ends.
First goal was a rolling puck, shooter didn't even know it was going to go there. |

MAF's worst game of the year. I'm can't stand Jeffery. DAgostini should be playing. |

There's one! Good work in front keeping the puck at the top of the crease. Letang finishes. |

Maatta high. Sutter high. 2 men low with just a quick shot. Fleury dead to rights. This game too.
Rangers deserve a lot of credit for doing simple things and doing them well. Take note Penguins. |

Fleury can't stop a beach ball tonight. He's pretty bad on deflections. |

He needs to be pulled. It might wake the team up and save him from this embarassment. He does not look sharp. D is also not covering people. Did they know there was a game tonight? |

Certainly after the 4th goal you can pull him as a spark for the team but I'm not going to pretend like he was a dumpster fire tonight. |

Nobody looks sharp. I agree, I'd pull him too. Disco should be reading them the riot act at the break. |

The game in a nutshell has been two Dustin Jeffrey turnovers and a Craig Adams turnover.
2 by a guy who is a fixture in the press box and one by a 4th liner. Healthy bodies are on the way, don't fret. |

Certainly long term it's not a terrible scenario. One game. Still, a division matchup that you should have a bit more jump from being played out like this? Not good. The turnovers are bad. Goals almost directly resulted from them but the Rangers are out working us tonight. Not close. Full scale excrement. Fleury suffers for it.
We've looked uncomfortable. Simple plays look difficult. |

Of course there are other turnovers, that's hockey. It is where you make them on the ice that matters.
Two bottom rung players decided they would make turnovers near the blue line. That's a big no no. |

I see a lot of guys from our team getting bumped easily off the puck. Battle level is down. Good for the Rags. |

1 out of 82. Can't say I care too much. That is part of the natural ebb and flow of an 82 game season. |
