Why break up the other pairings? - Ryan_Wilson
Because even though the team has won 4 straight, the coaches aren't doing exactly what we are want them too at all times. |

It's just not something that makes me feel very secure. |

Hell of a back check by Megna. Completely missed by Doc...or at least he didn't mention it. Orpik and Bortuzzo lost the play. |

I don't like that the Penguins are in a position where they feel the need to use him there but he has not been a liability in that role recently. |

Defenseman scores for NY. Typical. They play lower than almost any other team's defense. Malkin gave up position but the sour clear probably didn't help. |

I'm fine with the effort in their zone. I not happy with the effort in our own. There has to be full team puck support at both ends against this particular team. They'll push the play and dare you to stretch it out. I'd advise against that. Niskanen was flat footed and the puck is in the net. All 5 need to enter and exit together and clog up the zones. |

Easy Pal. You're going to lose this game. |

The penguins have the uncanny ability to dominate a period and be losing 2-0 to a poopty team like the Rags. Didn't see the two scores because I was driving home, but saw everything up to the hit post by the Pens. What the hell happened? I'm sure one goal was a gift. After all, the Rags couldn't score on a pee-wee goalie. |

The Pens felt only playing 3/4 of a period was adequate. It's like they flipped a switch and traveled back in time to last year. |

Orpik too hesitant to shoot there. Bad turnover. Didn't keep feet moving.
Not his best night. Pucks need to get deep. |
