Wait... St-Pierre was on the ice instead of Subban?
- Pecafan Fan

No. He was on the ice for a PP. The first of the game. It goes to a pattern of questionable coaching decisions.

I'm glad they intend to start negociations with Subban soon...but Diaz, really?

I mean, I know the salary cap is going up next season, but still...

It was pretty stupid I agree.

Edit: that said, both Therrien and Bergevin said the players would get ice time based on merit. And I thought St-Pierre had a good game. He was pretty dynamic.

WTF is up with Pacioretty? Good God he sucks.

He didn't look focused I found.

The win was gift wrapped for them.

Like Bingolady said (oh god), the shot hit the goalie stick. It was a very good shot coming from such a bad shootout guy.

I'm sure there were more than a few times when Subban would have been the better choice over Diaz

I agree with that. I think it was his best attempt of his last 25 consecutive misses.

Yeah. He seemed to be ok, until he looked back and saw the puck in the net. Then it really hurt.

Hey, with soccer nets that guy would probably have 2 or 3 goals more than he has now.

Not questioning whether St-Pierre had a good game or not. I thought he was solid as well. Just not the place for him in his first game.
