Anyone know anything about where Brendan Perlini in this upcoming draft? He's got 1 less point than Connor McDavid in the same number of games, and is draft eligible this year.

The Flyers obviously feel McGinn is useless as a 4th liner. He will benefit more from the expanded ice time & role in the AHL.

That said, I disagree with this, because it likely means Rosehill is in to fight Janssens tomorrow. I'd rather keep McGinn, move him up to a top 9 role, move Raffl to 4th line and send Rosehill to AHL

They should just trade that kid. Laviolette clearly had no use for him, Craig Berube doesn't want to play him, and sending him back down to our AHL affiliate doesn't do anything for his chances to make it to the NHL, since Berube clearly doesn't want to use him.

Give him the Kevin Marshall Escape Plan and let the kid get on with his career.

That's the same logic that saw them trade Patrick Sharp

Close. I believe our current D is considered more along the lines of orange cones on skateboards.

Scratch Raffl tomorrow night. I want a 4th line of Rinaldo, Newbury, and Rosehill!

Scoring is going to go through the roof.

I understand that, but they just won't use him -- it makes no sense to me whatsoever that they don't, but leaving that kid down there on the farm -- where he simply goes back and just gets right back to scoring goals -- is pointless.

We've all seen guys who coaches just don't like. I don't know why they don't like this kid -- all I've ever seen him do is play hard.

Looks like L. Schenn scratched again tomorrow night. The coach thinks Hal Gill gives the team a better chance to win. That says it all.

Yeah man. Plus bring up Alt, Cousins, Bordson and Straka and let some of these other guys sit.

We can bring up Fitzgerald to punch someone in the face instead of Newbury. Let's give the AHL lifer a shot.

I don't mind Gill being in the line-up. But I would sit Mez and Timmonen after last game and let Gus and Schenn play. Of course that's just me.

I keep him, unless somebody gives me full value in trade. Dumping an asset because he's not in plans right now is bad way to handle it.

To be fair he had the 2 goal game with the Phantoms and hasn't hit the score sheet since. It's not like he's tearing it up down there.

It's not just you -- Meszaros was right back to being the player who got benched earlier this year. He was outhustled and had no compete level in numerous board battles I saw.

Kimmo...I don't even know what you do with him. You bench him...that just opens up so many doors to ugliness. It's what they should do, with how he's played. But they won't.
