This loss should be equally blamed on nabbys soft long range goals and our defense. I know everyone on here gives me poop saying we should try and find some sort of help, any help at all, but SOMETHING has to happen. Start looking at teams that are really really deep at defense and trade for a someone in their ahl system. sadly it really could possibly help.

I did not. Nothing can be said that would make me happy. The accountability is never there when it comes to our "coach."

I'm always hoping for it which is beyond dumb at this point.

No way he wants to be stuck with this D. He would never keep his cool with this lousy bunch.

well when he starts threatening and mistreating his own teammates maybe that will light a fire under their asses

Nope. He will continue to struggle as long as he plays with useless plugs.

It's not so much that anyone is giving YOU shat for it. It's because we are coming to the realization that it's not coming.

Who can get him the puck on that line? I want Weight to coach just to see what he does for Grabner alone.

Garth set the bar with the Vanek trade. He cannot stop now. He needs to look at everything including the coach.

he flat out said he felt the teams play and record is unacceptable. and he's right. however, it still isn't acceptable and has to step up to the plate and address the glaring needs that a casual hockey fan could notice.

Then good luck to Garth. I hope he has something else up his sleeve then.

not sure he'd do much. maybe pad his stats a bit because naturally more ice time should lead to more goals over 82 games, but if grabner has only scored 1 goal on 8 or 9 breakaways, i don't think playing him JT where he's facing the opposition's best defenders and is surrounded by defenders and not 1 on 1 with a goalie will exactly help him.

Garth isn't going anywhere either. Botta said if Milbury didn't ask to leave he would still be the GM.

Right! It was his words and his actions with the Vanek trade. He opened the door and it will only close if the team goes on a run and turns it around.

I don't want to see Nabokov in net at all anymore. I don't care if we bring back the real Potvin in his prime. I'm sick of the complacency around here. I know Vanek is a great player, but, I know I'll probably get screamed at again, but why try to "fix" the one thing on this team that didnt need fixing?

You're right, we're all in now, but as long as we have Hamonic and 5 schleps in front of a stiff, it doesn't matter how many goals we score. It doesn't.

Brooklyn is a whole new world. Wang will not be able to get away with the same old act. Why the comments then from Snow and the Vanek trade if he did not feel pressure? I've never heard Snow talk that way.

I've seen enough from Nabby as well. I'm fine with the Vanek trade as long as other areas are improved as well. Stopping at Vanek will do nothing.

You have no (frank)ing idea what you're talking about one-trick pony.
I didn't like the Vanek trade, I still don't and I've been screaming about how you can't outscore people in this sport, it don't work.

Go ahead, though, make another Grabner joke. They're hilarious.

Your team has less points than ours, but, please, keep throwing your sarcastic stones in our direction.

This guy is a tool and a flat out homer, but sadly he's absolutely right. Defense and goaltending aredef what wins you more games than offense. however, saying offense Is overrated is a flat out stupid comment. look at his team for Gods sake. they let in 1-2 goals a game and still lose.

That's kind of my point. I don't dislike the trade, per se, but I don't see any fortifying anywhere else with this roster.

That's not my (frank)ing point. Go back and read any of my posts from the last 2 weeks. I know that, I've been saying that and I don't need him to tell me that.

I've been screaming about this since the offseason.

I'm done ranting about this, but if we're gonna give up 4 or 5 (or 6) goals a night, I'd rather it be done with Bridgeport guys.

Hey hey don't get upset at me. just ignore him then. don't let his pointless comments get under your skin. he makes absurd comments about our team because he knows the rangers are just flat out below mediocre and have more problems to address than the isles do
