Oh Dubs. Down and deep. Frozen.

Can't fault him too much but...

Non-existent D coverage is more to blame.

I still despise how he plays. Will take a lot for me to have any confidence in him.

I think we need a guy who hits, defends and creates space for nuge and eberle. I can't imagine anyone getting fewer than 30 points on huge and ebs line, but if he gets 50 + all the better.
- Morris

Great! Let's get him, and rather than putting someone like Hall or Perron on the 3rd line we trade him!

You open to trading Hall?

I'm crossin' that line and it's all wrong. I still project him to be an absolute beast in his mid to late twenties but prefer to see his little flaws right now. Quite honestly.

there is no realistic trade for hall that makes us better.

it has nothing to do with attachment. it has to do with his skill set, type of game he brings and special quality. hes gonna be our best player for a LONG time.

anyone can be had yes. but neither hall nor the nuge will be traded cause it wont make us better.

I don't think we need a true top 6 power forward. Big lug who is not offensively retarded should probably do us

Maybe every time we get a power play. We should Send someone to make a Penalty and play 4 on 4?

he got hit knee on knee....we should trade him.

I don't think you appreciate how good taylor hall is. im not sure what it is you don't see, but the guy is a special talent and our best player by a country mile.
he's really the only guy we got that can take over a guy by himself.

its not at all like trading ebs and yaks who are shifty snipers for grittier guys who go to the net and bring different facets. which might be something we'll do.

u don't get more 'well rounded' by dealing hall. he brings a superstar level and a north south, kamikaze, power game not many can replicate. and certainly no one on our team.

Duchene? ovechkin? couture? sure I consider a few of those guys. but that aint realistic.

and otherwise we aint trading a 100 dollar bill for 3 - twenties.

I know man, injuries are a slight concern with him too right now.
I guess that IS most of the team.

Everyone besides Crosby has a tipping point offer.
Maybe Mac-T gets offered something he can't turn away but those don't really happen. It's not like we're going to get Sharp, Seabrook and Saad for him...

Alright, backed away from the ledge

I just love his sweet dangles, his complete lack of accuracy when it comes to this wicked wrist shot he apparently has, his yapping at his line mates when he doesnt get a pass he wants, that sick burst of speed up the left side which ends in the grand finale of a spin at the top of the circle only to have no one to pass to because hes a little slow in the head to think that because hes going that fast, the rest of his team rides inside his speed bubble with him, at this point he coughs up said puck resulting in a 3 on 2 the other way and a goal in the back of our net. But with all this good stuff he does have the occasional burst of negativity, he may score a goal every 5 or 6 games that results in nothing more than breaking the other teams shut out while the game ends 5-1.

every year he gets hurt... but than so can anyone that puts skates on.

I'm just saying I'd listen if I was the GM. He has speed and skill, but he doesn't have the greatest hockey sense. I have no problem with keeping him, I have a problem with losing every game and being a lottery pick every year. Something has to happen this is bullpoop the way the organization has been run.
