On the bright side, I've noticed among hockeybuzz posters that Edmonton and their fans are more pitied now than despised . Makes for less douchey posting. |

As I say, maybe a for a smaller scale move they send us Paille or Caron for a lesser asset then Ebs? - Morris
Paille
I cant fathom any reason theyd part with this guy |

That's a lot more plausible, I'd say the Oilers could easily find 3rd liners through free agency though. Caron is young though, I don't know much about him, maybe he would be worth it, but you could find a Paille through UFA.
Defensmen and potentially a starting goalie are the much more crucial weaknesses/needs for this team IMO. The forward group is fine, yes you could use some more balance and tweaking but that shouldn't be at the top of the list ahead of the other needs.

It's been very relaxed from the outsiders lately. I've noticed it too. I even ventured into a Flames thread and was left alone with my tears lol |

Hope for a good game tonight! Hard watching your team struggle. Trade rumors are rampent in these parts too.
Hopefully both teams can turn the corner and soon. Lotta fight, if not talent, in this Panthers club. |

We have to pay 3 million for our 3rd liners though apparently. I just think installing a work ethic and a will to win could come easier from a couple of defensive forwards than from a big blockbuster. |

I don't see Boston doing it. They already have a skilled top 6 guy in Eriksson and they lost a powerforward in Horton. Would take away from their strength and identity as a team. - Nucker101
They're having troubles scoring, Eberle with Eriksson > Lucic with Eriksson.
Hey you wanna trade me Gallagher and Monahan for Eriksson (+)??? |

They probably won't make a deal right now.... they will most likely be spotted at a few other games as well. With the messier connection yo NY I can see a deal or at least talks with the two clubs |

Ha. It was a good attempt at sounding out the spelling bro!
Krejci.
And yes they absolutely are. Paille does so much for that team, and while their identity is obviously intertwined with lucic, chara, marchand; krejci is money and their offensive leader. |

he's had a slow start offensively after this past year, but you're right he'd likely still be costly. |

Oh I knew I was spelling it so wrong! Thanks for fixing it for me. I just didn't want to put in the effort to google it
I find in Boston that it's the unsung guys that really make their team who they are. You're right with those 3 pests being the center-stage for the team, but their entire back-end and especially lines 3 and Bergeron make the team the best! |
