(frank) I'm glad they won but where was Yakupov in that PP with the shot he's got? - AlEx_OiL
He hasn't been able to get that shot off all season. He got his chance earlier in the season and bombed. Until he can fight his way back onto the PP, expect to see a lot of "pass first" players on that 1st PP unit. |

This
Number 1 issue: Lack of determination and fortitude. These guys have no confidence in themselves.
Isuue 2: Lack of a number 1 guy to play with petry |

Man are we ever fortunate with this road trip! Florida, Tampa, Philly, and Chicago: that's four teams that either play weak defensively (Philly and Florida) or play some form of fire wagon hockey (Tampa, Chicago, and Philly). This road trip actually gives the team a chance to build some momentum. However, that's assuming the team can win those games... |

Yes Goalie is a must, that shot on Dubnyk to tied the game is a shot he needs to stop and don't blame the D or forwards, there was no reason to go to overtiime,MacT will get another Goalie,He doesn't trust Dubnyk. |

We get pinned for 16 of 20 minutes and its our goalie? Pfft. The team in front of him sucks. period. It's not our damn goalie. Our team of disinterested forwards and undersized talent-less defencemen are our problem. YAK is god damn terrible everywhere right now. If he didn't have that first overall selection attached to his name he's be in the AHL right now. (That and our overall lack of healthy NHL quality players) The only guys giving it 80% and more seem to be Arco, Perron, Petry, Nuge and ference. The rest arent showing up often enough. |

It's cause he was forced onto the wing by Gagner's return, but he appears to be finding a niche on the 3rd line. I still don't understand that move, though. If you have a player that has 10 points in 12 games, is a plus player, and is over 50% on the draws, why in the world do you displace him? Especially for a just-returning C who has historically struggled on the dot and has produced at around the same rate. Dumb move, if I may opine. |

It's bad man. It's almost like the 48 game shed hurt him. He had a wicked April. Maybe he was this bad but the goals were going in. He doesn't get the same amount of chances though it seems as well. |

Try to blame the game on him when the other two chances that created goals don't happen because we have a better D corps and stronger two-way play. Those two Upshall goals wouldn't have happened had their been better puck support or a stronger board presence. |

All well and good. I am just tired of his style. He's too deep a lot of the time, yes, I understand that will result in some favorable positioning on rebounds at times.
I just prefer a Bachman style approach. It was fresh to see in some respect. To be clear, I'm not crowning the little go-getter. |
